Fulfillment
Once a campaign (or a wave inside it) closes, the organization hands out or delivers what was sold. UnitTally tracks this through fulfillment blocks, per-variant stock caps, and low-stock alerts.
Fulfillment blocks
Section titled “Fulfillment blocks”A fulfillment block is an optional, per-campaign sub-bucket for campaigns whose pickup happens in distinct waves — a pre-holiday batch and a post-holiday batch, for example, or a run of ticketed shows each with its own date. A campaign with a single pickup date doesn’t need one; a campaign with more than one wave adds a block for each.
Each block carries:
- An order window — when orders can be placed against that block, with its own open and close cutoffs.
- An optional pickup window — a property of the block, when the organization actually hands out or delivers what was sold in it.
- An optional stock cap — scoped to just that block, on top of whatever stock level the variant itself has.
Stock and low-stock alerts
Section titled “Stock and low-stock alerts”Every variant carries its own stock level, tracked independently of any other variant on the same product. Low-stock alerts (Plus tier and up) fire once a variant’s stock crosses a treasurer-set threshold on its way down, notifying the organization’s owners and admins by email so a popular size or SKU doesn’t sell past what’s actually available mid-campaign.
What’s on the roadmap
Section titled “What’s on the roadmap”HTML-formatted packing slips and bulk shipping labels — printable per order or per batch — are on the roadmap for the stretch after public launch. They are not available today.
In the meantime, the orders CSV export sorts and groups by member, member group, or product, which covers the same “who gets what” question for pickup day in a spreadsheet instead of a printed slip.
Where to go next
Section titled “Where to go next”- Campaigns, products, variants & options — where fulfillment blocks attach to a campaign.
- The fundraising model — where fulfillment fits in the season arc.
- Attribution — how a sold item traces back to the member who sold it.
